Subject: [man-jp 7879] [RESEND] a request for replacing ports/japanese/man-doc package

Hi portmgr@ and doceng@,

I'm not sure my previous mail was actually sent, but put a mark
as resenting (just adding the last line).

My name is Yoshihiko Sarumaru, and I have been a (co-)project
manager of FreeBSD jpman project in jp.FreeBSD.org from last
January. You may know, this project is aiming to provide
Japanese translated version of FreeBSD man pages by using the
ports/japanese/man-doc package.

This port depends on a CVS repository located in
doc/ja_JP.eucJP/man, and we are now working for updating these
files to upcoming 6.1-RELEASE.

Now we are placing the target date as a deadline to commit them
to the same date as doc/ tagging date, March 13. But in that
day, the final package build was already started and maybe
completed.

So, could you rebuild and replace the above package after the
doc tagging, and give us the approve to update that port if it
was still frozen (this might also requests you to move the tag,
implicitly).

Sorry to request you after the ports tree was already frozen.

Best regards,
