It runs as-is under FreeBSD 2.2 and 2.1.7.1, and BSD/OS 2.1. The source
are taken from NetBSD-current. This driver has fixes for the 21142/21143
in 10Mb/s modes. The ability to run
without ifmedia is rudimentary but useable. It has
not been extensively tested. If it works (or not) for you, please
let me know and tell what card you are using (and the output of dmesg).

Dear Mr. Matt Thomas

I am FreeBsd user in Japan.
Thank you very much for you contribution.

I try to use your de driver for DE500-BA.
DE500-AA is fast, but DE500-BA is slow on same system.
Would you like me to help ?

I will explain the four ttcp tests and my system.

[Case 1] de500AA <- EM440TX This case is fast.
