Hi,

Byeong-Chan Kim <redhands@linux.sarang.net> is maintaining xmms-i18n
patch for same purpose. His patch is now against 1.0.0.

  http://linux.mizi.co.kr/mail/devel/200001/msg00167.html

He said that its original author is Yasuyuki Furukawa
<mailto:yasu@on.cs.keio.ac.jp>. Mr. Kim is updating this according to
xmms CVS version.

  http://www.on.cs.keio.ac.jp/~yasu/linux/x11amp/xmms-0.9.1-ja.patch

Good point of Kitame-san's patch is detecting/converting EUC/SJIS, it
doesn't affect to Korean, because we are using only EUC-KR. I've
tested with your patch and it seems to be OK.

If you have time, merge two patches(Yasuyuki/Kim's patch is better
in displaying multibyte chars) and make audio/xmms-i18n ports...

I've made xmms(0.9.5.1 for 3.4R) ports using Mr. Kim's patch.
